The Battlefield 6 beta has already hit capacity — and it hasn’t even officially started. More than 40,000 players are currently stuck in a queue, greeted only by a “Game Servers Full” message on the title screen as they attempt to join early access. The number has surged in recent hours, and signs point to it potentially reaching six figures as anticipation builds.
The full beta is scheduled to begin tomorrow, with broader access expected to draw in millions of players over the weekend. Fans are hopeful that the server strain will ease in time for the beta’s official opening.
Following last week’s multiplayer reveal and a string of high-profile leaks across social media, Battlefield 6 is riding a wave of momentum. The beta is seen as a key stress test for EA’s infrastructure ahead of the game’s global launch.
About Battlefield 6
Developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts, Battlefield 6 marks the next chapter in the iconic military shooter franchise. Set in a near-future conflict, the game introduces dynamic weather systems, large-scale destruction, and maps designed to support up to 128 players on next-gen platforms. With new modes focused on squad-based tactics and expanded sandbox elements, Battlefield 6 aims to return the series to its large-scale, chaotic roots — now powered by the latest iteration of the Frostbite engine. The game is slated for release later this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XS, and PC.
