The parent company of TikTok, ByteDance, has officially acknowledged ongoing discussions about the potential sale of its video games operations. The company is reportedly in talks with various potential buyers, with Tencent, among them. However, as of now, no final agreement has been reached. Rumors of ByteDance selling its gaming subsidiary, Nuverse, have been circulating since November, following earlier reports about the company's intention to sell Moonton Technology, the developer behind Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
