This development has sparked speculation that the game may be preparing for a potential revival.

Concord was taken offline on September 6, with neither Firewalk Studios nor publisher Sony providing clear plans for the game's future. The initial statement from Firewalk only mentioned the need to "determine the best path ahead" and promised full refunds to purchasers.
