Phoenix Labs veterans announced the forming of Critical Path Games. The studio will be based in Vancouver. The founders are Jeanne-Marie Owens and Jesse Houston. Owens, with a nine-year tenure at Phoenix Labs culminating in her role as Chief Operating Officer, and he previously worked for EA. Houston, a co-founder of Phoenix Labs, served as its CEO since its establishment in 2014 and had prior roles as a senior producer and senior product manager at Riot Games.
