Industry veterans Roald Van Buuren and Jan Moerland, previously associated with FACEIT, ESL, and Fnatic, have unveiled the establishment of ELO Agency. According to the release the company "aims to revolutionize the esports realm by providing comprehensive event management solutions". The company stated that they focus on "strategic planning, tournament operations, player management, and logistical coordination, ELO Agency aims to elevate the standards of esports events."
The company aims to partner with game developers, esports teams, clubs, and other companies venturing into esports industry. Roald van Buuren stated "Esports events are an unparalleled platform for marketing, capable of showcasing products or games to a global audience. However, the intricacies involved in esports can often lead to challenges if not properly navigated. ELO Agency is here to guide our clients through every step, ensuring their ventures into esports are not just successful but also impactful. From crafting RFPs and sourcing the perfect partners to training staff and establishing operational frameworks, we're here to make esports events a seamless and strategic extension of our clients' brands."
Even though the industry is going through tough times we continue to see an increase in the amount of agencies. Most recently we have seen Dominic Müller and Marco Niemann launching Bright Up Agency.
