North American esports organization ENVY has announced a significant expansion into the competitive scene of The Finals, a fast-growing first-person shooter developed by Embark Studios.

In a major development revealed via social media, ENVY confirmed that it is not only entering the title with a full roster but has also been named the first partnered team in the game’s evolving esports ecosystem. This announcement comes as The Finals gears up for its first major global competition at DreamHack Stockholm this November.

The move marks another strategic step for ENVY, which has been steadily rebuilding its brand since founder Mike ‘Hastr0’ Rufail reacquired it from OpTic Gaming earlier this year.

Since the re-acquisition in January 2025, ENVY has rapidly expanded into several emerging competitive titles, including Marvel Rivals, Halo, and Rainbow Six Siege. The organization’s entry into The Finals underlines its commitment to staking an early claim in the newest frontiers of esports.

Early Movers in a New Esports Scene ENVY is among the first esports organizations to establish a dedicated trio for The Finals, joining the likes of Pulsar Esports in preparing to compete in both developer-run and third-party tournaments.
