Aurora enters Valorant.
The Sorganisation announced its first Valorant roster, Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev, Nikita “trexx” Cherednichenko, Ričardas “Boo” Lukaševičius, Egor “chiwa” Stepanyuk and Vitaliy “B1SK” Emelyanov.
CEO Adalyat Mamedov stated “This was hands down the fastest roster build I’ve ever witnessed. Everything seemed to fall into place on its own in just a few days: a great coach, amazing players, and negotiations and signings wrapped up just minutes before qualifier registration closed.”
The coach is still unknown.
The catch
The thing is Aurora is not one of the eight VCT EMEA partner teams for 2027.
Partnered organisations will go straight into Kickoff. Aurora starts in the Open Qualifiers on 5 November, where only two teams advance.
So a roster featuring a Champions runner-up and an Esports World Cup winner has to qualify for the privilege of playing a league it isn’t guaranteed to stay in.
Who they signed
Derke, Finnish duelist, played for four organisations. Lock//In São Paulo and Masters Tokyo with Fnatic in 2023, then runner-up at Champions 2026 with Vitality, losing 3-1 to LOUD in the final. He reunites with trexx, his teammate at Vitality in 2025.
Boo, Lithuanian, in-game leader. Won the Valorant competition at Esports World Cup 2025 with Team Heretics and took VCT EMEA Stage 1 in 2026 with the same organisation.
trexx, from Liquid, with a VCT EMEA Stage 2 title from 2025. That Liquid side finished ninth-twelfth at Champions Shanghai following purp0’s abrupt pre-event benching.
chiwa and B1SK come up from Tier 2, both competed since 2020 without reaching VCT. Aurora credits B1SK with Challengers Spain titles in 2024 and 2026, and chiwa with three Challengers France titles plus Monsters Reloaded 2024.
