Epic Games Partners with Telefónica

Epic Games has partnered with Telefónica to pre-install the Epic Games Store and Fortnite on compatible Android devices within Telefónica’s network. This initiative covers markets including the UK, Spain, Germany, and Spanish-speaking regions in Latin America.
The collaboration, which initially focuses on Epic's own titles like Fortnite, will expand in 2025 to include games from third-party developers, enhancing the variety of gaming options available through the platform.

Epic Games introduced its mobile store globally in August 2024, offering popular titles such as Fortnite, Rocket League Sideswipe, and Fall Guys Mobile. By October, the company revealed plans to grow the store's library to feature up to 50 third-party games. Additionally, Epic will roll out a mobile version of its PC marketplace giveaway program by the end of 2024 and plans to launch self-publishing tools for developers in 2025.
