Turkish organisation Eternal Fire have officially added Alexander "br0" Bro from NRG, confirming a move first reported over the weekend. The Danish rifler arrives as the final piece of a fresh rebuild, joining alongside Vladyslav "Kvem" Korol, who signed on a free transfer after his Passion UA contract expired. Together, the pair replace Sergiy "DemQQ" Demchenko and Rigon "rigoN" Gashi, both of whom departed at the start of the month.

br0's Exit From NRG

br0 became available after NRG moved him to the bench in the aftermath of their painful Stage 1 exit from the IEM Cologne Major. The benching brought an end to an 18-month stint with the American organisation, which he originally joined in January 2025 as a replacement for Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte. During his time there, he posted a respectable 1.09 LAN rating and attended three Majors in Austin, Budapest, and Cologne, though NRG were eliminated in the opening stage on each occasion, a frustrating recurring pattern that ultimately contributed to his departure.

A Rebuild With North American DNA

The dual signing caps what has been a turbulent stretch for Eternal Fire, who have cycled through more than ten players across the past six months while stalling out in the low 50s of the Valve Regional Standings. That instability traces back to the organisation selling its successful MAJ3R and XANTARES-led core to Aurora in 2025, after which it has struggled to recapture form through repeated international experiments. Interestingly, this new-look roster carries a distinct North American flavour, since br0 comes from NRG, Kvem from a Passion UA project built around NA-scene players, and in-game leader Gareth "MisteM" Ries spent several years stateside with the likes of ATK and Limitless. That shared background could help the lineup gel more quickly than previous iterations managed.

The New Lineup

Eternal Fire's completed roster now consists of Samet "jottAAA" Köklü (on loan from Aurora), Iulian "regali" Harjău, Gareth "MisteM" Ries, Vladyslav "Kvem" Korol, and Alexander "br0" Bro, coached by Yiğit "yT" Özden. Ömer "imoRR" Karataş and Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk remain benched. br0 and Kvem will make their debut for the organisation at European Pro League Series 8, where Eternal Fire have earned a direct invite straight to the playoffs, giving the reshaped side an immediate opportunity to prove the rebuild has legs.
