FaZe Clan reboot is announced by FaZe "Banks. According to reports most of the content creators were removed from the FaZe Clan roster. Following the backlash by content creatos, Banks commented on the FaZe Clan's situation, noting its instability and criticizing some creators for their behavior. He expressed a direct plan to streamline the organization by reducing members and initiating a "reboot", aiming for longevity beyond any individual associated with the brand.

FaZe Banks stated "Hard decisions are gunna need to be made and quite frankly I could give a single fuck less what anyones opinion about any of it is. We're done making decisions for what everyone else wants. I'll be fucking damned if I can't have fun with this again, if I can't believe in this again, if FaZe can't be FaZe again. I'm ok with being the bad guy. I'll be the last one standing, with my dick in one hand, fazing the fuck up with the other. I owe everything good that's ever happened in my fucking life to this brand. This was my dads favorite thing that ever happened in his own life. It means more to me than any amount of money or anyones opinion ever could. It's a blessing the value crashed to basically zero, because now we have it back. We have the 2nd chance literally nobody ever gets."

Like most of the industry, FaZe Clan has been going through a tough time. The organization's CEO has been fired recently following bad financial reports. The organization was also warned by NASDAQ several times for poor stock performance. FaZe Clan recently merged with GameSquare Esports the acquisition was an all-stock transaction.
