GIANTX have confirmed a shake-up to their League of Legends roster, promoting ADC Víctor "Flakked" Lirola Tortosa in place of Oh "Noah" Hyeon-taek and benching toplaner Eren "Lot" Yıldız. Announced June 23, it's the org's first roster change since the lineup was assembled in Winter 2025. Former Fnatic toplaner Óscar "Oscarinin" Muñoz is expected to replace Lot, per a Sheep Esports report.

Why GIANTX Made the Call

GIANTX ran essentially the same five for over a year and a half but never finished higher than fourth in the LEC Playoffs. Esports director David "Lozark" Alonso called the change painful but necessary, admitting the org had failed to "create the environment and atmosphere to get the best out of these two players" and revealing the squad itself "almost unanimously" pushed for change. His blunt take: "being Top 4 three splits in a row doesn't do us any good. We have to take risks." GIANTX reportedly tried to trade Noah and Lot to other teams first, but couldn't make a deal work.

The Incoming and Outgoing Players

Flakked returns to the LEC after a tough stretch, having won 2022 Spring with G2 and spent two and a half years with Team Heretics before being benched, most recently playing for academy side GIANTX iTero. GIANTX reportedly considered Vitality's Matyáš "Carzzy" Orság before settling on him. Oscarinin, meanwhile, hasn't played since Worlds 2025 with Fnatic and returns without needing to requalify through the regional leagues.

For the departing pair, the future is uncertain. Noah reached four LEC finals with Fnatic but never won an EMEA title, and faces looming South Korean military service that could force him out of Europe, the same pressure facing GIANTX support Yoon "Jun" Se-jun. With all contracts expiring in November, the new lineup of Oscarinin, Isma, Jackies, Flakked, and Jun heads into Summer as a calculated gamble by an org that decided stability had become its own ceiling.
