Gameplan has announced a partnership with the Pennsylvania Scholastic Esports League (PSEL), providing the league with access to its educational platform to enhance esports and academic initiatives across the state. The collaboration aims to improve students’ esports skills while supporting their academic development through tailored lessons.
Founded in 2021, PSEL organizes scholastic esports tournaments in titles like League of Legends, Rocket League, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The league also partnered with coaching platform STEMForged in August 2024 to help participants improve their skills.
This is Gameplan’s second partnership with a scholastic esports organization in 2024. In April, it teamed up with the Texas Scholastic Esports Federation to offer esports-related educational courses to Texas schools.
Rasmus Sandström, CEO of Gameplan, commented, “We have great respect for the work PSEL has done in the realm of scholastic esports. Joining forces allows us to combine our expertise to create educational experiences with esports being the main method of instruction.”
