Generation Media, an independent media specialist known for its communication strategies across multiple sectors including video games, has announced the acquisition of creative agency Portal Studio.
Portal Studio, renowned for its expertise in brand storytelling, digital content, and design, will continue to operate under its own name following the acquisition. However, its activities will be integrated into Generation Media's operations, enhancing the company’s in-house capabilities and expanding its service offerings.
According to Generation Media, the acquisition will complement the work already being done through its dedicated content division, Generation Entertainment, which focuses on creator services. The merger of the two entities will allow Generation Media to offer a more comprehensive suite of services, blending strategic media planning with compelling creative execution.
“The acquisition reinforces Generation Media’s commitment to innovation, client service, and growth, bringing strategic media planning and compelling creative execution under one roof,” the company stated in a release.
