Jon Chapman joined PlayVS as the new CEO of the company. He stated "“I am thrilled to join PlayVS as its new CEO and look forward to building upon the remarkable work that Delane Parnell and his team have accomplished as pioneers in esports. I’ve admired Delane’s tenacity and perseverance and am excited to learn from him and continue this groundbreaking work,” says Chapman. “Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about creating opportunities for students through education, sports, and emerging technology. I am confident that my experience working with schools, families, publishers, and professional sports leagues during my tenure at EverFi will further drive PlayVS’ mission of providing inclusive esports opportunities for an even greater number of students.” Previous CEO Delane Parnell resigned in May, 2023.
