Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has secured a high-profile partnership with Lenovo Legion, which will serve as the official PC and gaming hardware partner for the highly anticipated 2025 Esports World Cup. This collaboration marks a significant step in elevating the technological infrastructure of the prestigious global event.
As part of the partnership, all athletes participating in the Esports World Cup will be outfitted with a range of Lenovo Legion’s latest gaming hardware. The official lineup includes the Legion Tower 7i and Legion Tower 5i, both equipped with NVIDIA’s RTX 5080 and 5070 GPUs. For the first time at the event, players will also compete using Lenovo’s Legion Pro 7i laptops, which come powered by NVIDIA’s latest 5090 GPUs — offering the cutting-edge technology needed for competitive gaming at the highest level.
The partnership goes beyond just the athletes, with Lenovo’s Legion branding also featured across global broadcasts, digital content, and on-site experiences. Festival zones at the event will be equipped with Lenovo hardware, ensuring attendees also have access to top-tier gaming equipment.
Setting New Standards for Global Esports Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer of the Esports World Cup Foundation, shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting Lenovo Legion’s alignment with the event's vision of pushing the boundaries of both competition and technology.
“We’re building the Esports World Cup to set a new global standard — in both competition and the technology behind it. Lenovo’s Legion brand understands what elite players need: speed, efficiency, and reliability under pressure. These machines deliver the competitive edge required on the world’s biggest stage, and together we’re pushing the limits of performance — while delivering an experience that meets the expectations of athletes, fans, and the future of global esports.”
Finalizing a High-Profile Partner Lineup With less than a week to go until the start of the 2025 Esports World Cup, the EWCF is finalizing its list of official global partners. Lenovo joins an impressive group of sponsors, including Saudi Telecom Company (stc Group), Amazon Ads, Barn’s Coffee, OBSBOT, Sony, Jameel Motorsport, and Aramco, the latter of which has signed a three-year renewal to continue its support.
