Riot Games has announced that the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2024 is scheduled to take place in Chengdu, China. The tournament, running from May 1 to May 19, 2024, will showcase twelve elite League of Legends teams from around the globe.
The participating teams for MSI 2024 will include:
2 teams each from LPL, LCK, LCS, and LEC 1 team from LLA, CBLOL, PCS, and VCS
The Play-In stage will feature eight teams, including the second-seed teams from the LCK, LPL, LEC, and LCS, along with the top seed from LLA, CBLOL, PCS, and VCS.
During the group stage, the teams will be divided into two groups, each following a double-elimination format. All matches in this stage will be best-of-three series. The top two teams from each group will progress to the Bracket Stage.
