According to recent leaks Microsoft planned to acquire Nintendo. The leaks state that Phil Spencer stated that it was a good move for both companies. The leaks further state that Microsoft planned to acquire Valve, Warner Brothers Interactive, and ZeniMax at the time. Microsoft acquired ZeniMax in the end.
