Muller & Phipps East Group Holdings Acquires Power League Gaming

Muller & Phipps East Group Holdings has completed the acquisition of all assets belonging to MENA gaming and esports agency Power League Gaming. According to release this acquisition will enable Muller & Phipps to expand PLG’s operations in Dubai and aims to enter the Saudi Arabian market by Q4 2024. PLG’s current management, including CEO Matthew Pickering, will remain in charge under the new ownership. The move is part of Muller & Phipps' strategy to bolster its presence in the gaming and esports sector across the MENA region.
Founded in 2017, Muller & Phipps Group is a telecom distributor based in Saudi Arabia and is affiliated with the multinational Getz Group. Recently, it has expanded its portfolio to include Pedigri Technologies, a technology solutions company. Meanwhile, Power League Gaming, headquartered in Dubai, specializes in managing esports activities in the MENA region, creating gaming content, and hosting events from its expansive 10,000 sqft esports production studios. Since its inception in 2014, PLG has collaborated with prominent entities such as Tencent, Lenovo, Electronic Arts, and Riot Games.
