North American esports powerhouse NRG has announced a new partnership with gaming hardware brand Thrustmaster, focused on its Rocket League division, as the team prepares for the Rocket League World Championship in Lyon, France, kicking off September 10.

The collaboration brings Thrustmaster’s branding to the forefront of NRG’s Rocket League content and activations. Fans can expect a strong visual presence across various platforms, including NRG’s Mission Control broadcast series, Twitch Community Game Nights, and exclusive social media content.

One of the standout elements of the partnership is an exclusive pre-tournament bootcamp hosted at Thrustmaster’s headquarters in Rennes, France. NRG’s Rocket League roster will train at the facility, with behind-the-scenes footage giving fans a closer look at the team’s preparation for the international stage.

"We are thrilled to welcome NRG to our headquarters and to officially partner with the top Rocket League team in North America," said Yannis Bouillennec, Esport & Influencer Manager at Thrustmaster. "Together, we’re raising the bar for what it means to compete, create, and inspire in this space."

While financial specifics of the agreement remain confidential, the partnership adds another high-profile brand to NRG’s growing sponsorship portfolio. Thrustmaster joins a roster of eight partners supporting the organisation, including ASUS ROG, Rockstar Energy, Theta Labs, AndaSeat, and Spectrum.

Thrustmaster is well-established in the sim racing and gaming peripheral space, recognized for its collaborations with major names such as Ferrari and Gran Turismo developer Polyphony Digital. The company offers a wide array of gaming gear including steering wheels, pedals, shifters, and gamepads—technology that aligns well with NRG’s competitive focus and content-driven approach.
