Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) has announced a new partnership with Socios.com, in a bid to enhance fan engagement and loyalty. The collaboration will see NIP integrate Socios.com’s tools into its fan loyalty platform, the Dojo, to create a more rewarding and interactive experience for its fan base.

The integration will add new digital functionalities to the Dojo, offering fans exciting ways to interact with the team and participate in exclusive fan-driven activities. The goal is to deepen fan involvement and improve the overall experience, further solidifying NIP’s connection to its community.

Socios.com, which is already well-known in the traditional sports industry, has been expanding its presence in esports for years. The platform has previously partnered with European esports giants like OG Esports in 2019, and has worked with other top teams such as Team Heretics, Navi, Alliance, Team Vitality, MIBR, and Immortals.

One of the standout features of Socios.com’s offerings is the Esports Fan Tokens, which allow fans to vote on key decisions affecting their favorite teams, such as merchandise choices, and earn unique rewards and experiences. This kind of fan participation is expected to create a deeper sense of ownership and loyalty among the community.

Founded in 2000, Ninjas in Pyjamas is one of the most iconic names in esports, with teams competing in titles such as Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends, Apex Legends, Rocket League, Counter-Strike 2, EA FC, and MLBB.

The partnership with Socios.com comes at a time when NIP is looking to diversify its revenue streams. Last week, the organization’s parent company, NIP Group, published its latest financial report, revealing a loss of approximately $12.7 million (~£9.6 million) for the 2024 financial year. In response, the organization has been actively exploring new revenue opportunities, including game licensing, event production, and an expanding presence in the MENA region following a multi-year partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO).
