Mobile gaming studio One Rule Games has completed its seed funding round with backing from top investors to speed up work on hybrid-casual mobile games. The Montpellier-based team aims to launch its first titles later in 2026 blending easy-to-pick-up casual gameplay with mechanics that keep players coming back for more.
CEO and co-founder Alexander Willink heads the studio after serving as general manager at Voodoo. He teams up with former leaders from Homa Games to form the core group. According to release they have shipped over twenty successful mobile titles including massive hits like Paper.io, Crowd City Hole.io and All in Hole. Their track record focuses on quick iteration from concept to global scale making them a strong "0 to 1" outfit in the hyper-competitive mobile space.
Griffin Gaming Partners led the investment round bringing their expertise in gaming and interactive entertainment. A solid lineup of angel investors joined in too with names such as Simon Hade Saad Choudri, Elad Drory, and The Games Angels providing additional support. The exact amount raised was not disclosed but the capital targets faster development cycles and stronger launches."A huge thank you to our lead investor Griffin Gaming Partners and all the incredible backers who believe in our vision" said Willink.
