Riot Games has introduced a new events program called Riot Play Club, designed to engage local fans in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Nordics. The initiative will support small-scale events organized by partnered venues, ensuring no overlap in timing to maximize fan participation.
The Riot Play Club will feature a variety of activities including 5v5 matches on Summoner’s Rift, Swiftplays, ARAMs, 1v1s, quizzes, and opportunities to showcase top plays from the previous month. Additionally, the program will host watch parties for major events such as Worlds and VCT, as well as in-game activities for rotating modes like Arena.

Initially, Riot Play Club events will be available at seven locations in the UK—Sidequest in London (Charing Cross and Elephant Park), Razer Store London, Pixel Bar in Leeds and Manchester, Sidequest Coventry, and New Meta Islington—and at Eldorado in Oslo, Norway. Additional venues are expected to be announced in the future.
Participation in Riot Play Club events requires only attendance on event nights, with activities including quizzes, ARAMs, Arena competitions, and watch parties. Attendees can also expect Riot merchandise and other prizes during these events.
