According to recent news by Esports Bets, Entain will shut down Unikrn. The company stated that it has taken the decision to “reposition their esports offering.” Entain acquired Unikrn in 2021 for $50m. The company went through a major rebranding and launched in 2022 with a focus on LATAM region. The reports state that on October 9th, Unikrn will no longer accept deposits by bettors. Entain stated that they will return all remaining balances to bettors. Unikrn recently partnered with BLAST Premier and became the official betting partner of the event.
