The Season 4 Reloaded midseason patch goes live June 25 across Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone, and while it's headlined by the "Summer of Action" content drop, the weapon balancing is where competitive players will feel the biggest shift. Crucially, this isn't just a round of buffs, since the update also delivers some overdue nerfs to weapons that have dominated for too long, alongside a batch of attachment and bug fixes aimed at tightening up the meta heading into the back half of the season.

Weapon Buffs

MK35 ISR (AR): Increased damage and an extended medium damage range, making it stronger in mid-range fights and a likely meta contender once again.

VX Compact (AR): Improved damage range and faster bullet velocity for the recently added rifle.

REV-46 (SMG): A major winner, gaining a longer damage range, reduced vertical and horizontal recoil, and a higher headshot multiplier.

Sturmwolf 45 (SMG): Extended damage range plus improved damage at maximum range. VST (SMG): Higher minimum and medium damage ranges, with slight gun kick and view kick reductions for cleaner control.

Grimhawk (special weapon): Increased damage, a buff the source overlooked.

The Nerfs (Missing From Most Early Coverage)

Voyak KT-3: Finally toned down after several seasons as a top pick, with reduced max damage range and recoil to curb its dominance.

Kogot-7: One of the strongest SMGs in the game, now adjusted to weaken its long-range performance, with tweaked damage values and headshot multipliers meaning more shots are needed to secure distant kills.

Weapon and Attachment Changes

CBRS-3 (SMG): Now rechambers every 40 bullets instead of 30, with reduced horizontal recoil, making it noticeably smoother to use.

XM325 (LMG): Lower view kick strength, view kick deviation, and horizontal recoil; its MFS Motion Strike Laser now also improves ADS spread.

XR-3 Ion (sniper): The MFS 3×3 Compensator, Exposed-73 Stock, and Convergence Box Laser all gain ADS spread improvements.

LTI Stentorian Brake (muzzle): Strengthened, with its vertical recoil penalty removed and a slight fire rate increase.

AR attachment tuning: Recoil and ADS-speed adjustments applied across attachments for the DS20 Mirage, EGRT-17, M15 Mod 0, MXR-17, Peacekeeper Mk1, and Voyak KT-3.

MPC-25: Multiple attachments retuned for better recoil control and ADS speed.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where completing a Supply Run Contract failed to grant a Fire Sale at a Buy Station if the team had already triggered one there.

Resolved geometry exploits letting players reach unintended map areas or get stuck.

Additional stability and gameplay fixes throughout.

The Bigger Picture

Beyond the numbers, Season 4 Reloaded is Call of Duty's "Summer of Action" update, bringing a fair amount of content alongside the balance pass. The headline addition is a Nicolas Cage operator with his own limited-time event, joined by two new weapons, a brand-new Zombies map, and a summer-themed makeover for Warzone's Rebirth Island. With the Voyak and Kogot reined in and several mid-tier guns pushed up, the midseason meta looks set for a genuine reshuffle rather than the usual minor tweaks.
