Reports indicate that ZA/UM, the developer behind Disco Elysium, is preparing to lay off 24 employees and scrap a project codenamed X7. ZA/UM CEO Ilmar Kompus reportedly communicated this decision to staff, stating that it includes the team involved in X7 and "non-development teams." Another message listed writers, engineers, artists, production, IT, and animation as at-risk positions.
