iRacing, has entered into a multi-year agreement with Cosworth, a British automotive company, to enhance the simulation experience for its users. The partnership will make Cosworth the official data analysis partner of iRacing, a deal that aims to provide a new layer of performance analysis tools for sim racers worldwide.
iRacing is well-positioned to integrate Cosworth’s advanced data analysis software, Pi Toolbox, into its ecosystem. Pi Toolbox, originally developed for real-world motorsports, offers in-depth telemetry data, allowing users to analyze race data, including lap times, vehicle behavior, and driver inputs in real-time.
“This is more than just a partnership – it’s a performance ecosystem,” said Tom Brown, Head of Product and Solutions at Cosworth. “From grassroots esports to professional-level simulation, we’re delivering tools that don’t just replicate the real-world experience.”
As part of the collaboration, iRacing will introduce a variety of Cosworth-branded racing series, enriching the platform’s competitive offerings. The deal also involves the integration of Cosworth’s telemetry tools across several iRacing titles, including the upcoming iRacing Arcade, as well as the licensed NASCAR and IndyCar games.
iRacing users will have exclusive access to Pi Toolbox, elevating their ability to refine racing strategies and improve performance. The software, which has long been a trusted tool for professional drivers and engineers, will now be available to sim racers looking to gain an edge in their virtual competitions.
“This collaboration enables us to offer the ultimate platform for performance analysis, training, and development, supporting both today’s racers and the next generation of drivers and engineers,” Brown continued.
