  • iRacing has unveiled a revamped format for the 17th season of the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series, featuring a $500,000 prize pool.
  • The 2026 season expands to 24 rounds, introducing a multi-vehicle qualifying format across three NASCAR categories.

iRacing has officially lifted the curtain on Season 17 of the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series, confirming major format changes and a continued commitment to one of sim racing’s most prestigious championships. With a $500,000 prize pool on the line, the 2026 season promises to be one of the most competitive in the series’ history.

Widely regarded as the premier stock car esports competition, the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series continues to attract elite sim racers and established esports organizations aiming to replicate NASCAR glory in the virtual arena.

Expanded 24-Round Calendar

The upcoming season introduces an expanded 24-round structure, designed to intensify competition and provide a deeper qualifying pathway for drivers.

The first 11 rounds will form the newly branded eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Qualifying Series. Competition begins on February 10 at the virtual Daytona International Speedway, a fitting launch venue given its iconic status in real-world NASCAR racing.

For the first time in series history, the qualifying stage will feature three distinct NASCAR vehicle classes. Drivers will compete in Cup Series cars, Craftsman Truck Series machines, and O’Reilly Auto Parts Series vehicles. The multi-car format is intended to test versatility, racecraft, and adaptability across different stock car disciplines.

Path to the Championship Grid

Performance in the Qualifying Series will determine eligibility for free agency. The top 30 drivers in the qualifying standings will advance, joining the top 20 finishers from last season’s standings and the top two competitors from the eNASCAR College iRacing Series.

From this pool of 52 drivers, 40 will secure full-time spots on the championship grid.

The Championship campaign itself will consist of nine regular-season races followed by a three-race playoff format, where drivers will battle for the title and the coveted Dale Earnhardt Jr. Cup.
