According to recent news, Bungie laid off more than 100 employees recently. The company had more than 1200 employees which means the management laid off more than 8% of the staff. The most affected divisions are Community management and publishing teams. The company revealed that revenue predictions are 45% below projections for 2023. Bungie's upcoming title Marathon is also postponed until 2025.CEO Pete Parsons stated Destiny 2's Lightfall expansion as a factor in the title's poor retention.
