Mike ‘Hastr0’ Rufail, founder of North American esports organisation Envy, has announced the upcoming launch of a new performance facility in Fairview, Texas. Designed to support competitive teams, the Envy Performance Lab is set to open in November and will be available for both single-day rentals and multi-day bootcamps.
Located near the Allen Event Center, the lab will feature high-end gaming setups across three dedicated bootcamp rooms. It aims to provide a premium space for teams preparing for major tournaments and training sessions.
The announcement was made via Hastr0’s social media, where he shared more details about the project. "We will open the Envy Performance Lab in Fairview, Texas, next month," he said. "With hotels, grocery, restaurants, movie theatre and retail shopping on site, it is the perfect place for bootcamps and single-day rentals."
In addition to team usage, the facility will open to public reservations before the end of 2025. Envy is also open to exploring partnership opportunities related to the lab.
The move reflects a growing trend in the esports industry, where organisations are investing in dedicated performance spaces. In June, Gaimin Gladiators opened a new $1 million facility in Lisbon, Portugal, complete with bootcamp areas and coaching rooms.
