ENVY to Field a Rainbow Six Roster

ENVY has announced its official entry into the competitive Rainbow Six Siege scene, acquiring the roster formerly known as JJ and Co. The team earned its spot in the 2025 North America League by securing victory in the North America Challenger Series, which saw them rise through the ranks to claim a place in Stage 1 of the regional competition.

In a social media post on June 3rd, ENVY confirmed the acquisition, marking a significant expansion for the organization. "We’re excited to welcome the talented roster of JJ and Co. to the ENVY family," the announcement read. "We can’t wait to see what they achieve in the upcoming North America League: Stage 1 and beyond."

Stage 1 of the North America League will feature 10 teams from across the Americas, competing from June 12th to July 24th. The top four teams will secure coveted spots at the Esports World Cup, where a $2 million (~£1.4m) prize pool awaits. Additionally, the league will offer Six Invitational points, which play a key role in determining which teams qualify for the prestigious season-ending Six Invitational tournament.

ENVY’s move into Rainbow Six Siege is part of a broader period of growth for the organization. The team recently merged with Native Gaming in March, expanding its competitive portfolio. In May, ENVY also made its return to Halo esports after a four-year hiatus.

While one esports organization makes its debut in Rainbow Six Siege, another is quietly exiting the scene. On June 3rd, Landon ‘Beeno’ Ashbee, a member of Luminosity Gaming's Rainbow Six roster, announced via social media that the team is now seeking a new organization to represent. The move comes shortly after Luminosity Gaming’s in-game cosmetics were removed from the Rainbow Six Siege store, leading many to speculate about the organization’s departure from the competitive scene.

While Luminosity has yet to make an official statement regarding its exit from Rainbow Six, the timing of Ashbee’s announcement and the removal of the organization’s in-game content suggest that the team is parting ways with the title ahead of the 2025 North America League Stage 1.
