The Esports World Cup Foundation has announced the first 20 games set to feature at the 2026 edition of the Esports World Cup, with a diverse mix of genres returning for the third iteration of the Saudi Arabian government-backed tournament.

All of the revealed titles were part of the 2025 lineup, signaling a continuation of the World Cup’s strategy to offer consistency and familiarity for fans and organisations. Big-name franchises like Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, and VALORANT will once again headline the competition. With a total of 24 titles expected in 2026, four remain unannounced.

Launched in 2024 as a successor to the discontinued Gamers8 series, the Esports World Cup. Hosted annually in Riyadh, the tournament has leveraged significant investment and strategic partnerships to draw the world’s top esports organisations and talent.

One of the more unique inclusions in the 2026 lineup is Chess, which continues its integration into the esports scene. In August, renowned grandmaster Magnus Carlsen partnered with Chess.com to establish a weekly competition series, which will serve as a qualifier for the World Cup. The move underscores the tournament's growing range across competitive gaming.
