Istanbul-based mobile game studio Fuse Games has raised $7 million in a seed funding round led by venture capital firm Griffin Gaming Partners, with additional participation from Lakestar, NFX Capital, and Actera.
The fresh capital will be used to support the development of new intellectual property, expand the studio’s team, and invest in tools and technology to enhance its production capabilities. Founded in 2023, Fuse Games is a relatively new entrant in the gaming space and is currently developing its first title.
"Fuse was founded with the idea that truly great games marry accessibility with depth – games that welcome everyone but reward mastery," said Akin Şahan, CEO and co-founder of Fuse Games. "With Griffin's support, we're accelerating our roadmap to deliver new IP that blends technical innovation with pure player joy. This partnership gives us the opportunity to scale the studio without compromising the creative spirit that defines us."
The investment signals growing confidence in Turkey’s fast-rising game development scene, particularly in the mobile sector. Griffin Gaming Partners, one of the leading venture capital firms focused exclusively on the gaming industry, cited the studio’s clarity of purpose as a key factor in its decision.
"We look for studios that don't just have talent – they have a clear, enduring vision," said Griffin Gaming Partners investor Ibrahim Hafeez.
With backing from top-tier investors and a development team focused on innovation and player-first experiences, Fuse Games is positioning itself as a promising new force in mobile gaming.
