Fateless has officially raised $14 million to support the development of its debut title, Godforge, a cross-platform RPG slated for release in Q1 2026. The studio announced a fresh injection of $8 million in its latest funding round, building on an initial $6 million raised just ten weeks after its formation.
The news was confirmed via a press release issued on August 14, marking a significant milestone for the relatively young studio, which launched in May 2023 around the popular HellHades Gaming (HH Gaming) brand.
According to Fateless, both rounds of funding have been overwhelmingly supported by members of its existing HH Gaming and HellHades communities—a testament to the brand's strong grassroots following.
“With an already engaged and proven audience of over [two] million players across our YouTube channels, website, Discord, and social media, we’re excited and confident that Godforge will help evolve the hero collector genre for the next generation of players,” said Simon "HellHades" Lockerby, co-founder and CEO of Fateless.
Lockerby also emphasized the community’s role in bringing the studio’s vision to life: “More importantly, the community has already expressed great belief in the game by helping us raise funds of $6 million during our initial startup phase, and was a major contributor to our latest round.”
