FURIA has been crowned the champion of the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Chengdu 2025, defeating Team Vitality 3-0 in the Grand Finals. The Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament took place from November 3rd to 9th, 2025, featuring 16 of the world’s top teams competing for a $300,000 prize pool.

The Brazilian roster secured a decisive win to take home the championship title, marking another major success in what has been an outstanding competitive year for the organization.

Path to Victory

FURIA entered IEM Chengdu 2025 as the top-ranking team in the Americas regional standings for August 2025. In the group stage, they earned a 2-0 victory against G2 Esports, followed by a narrow 2-1 loss to MOUZ. Despite the setback, the team advanced to the playoffs, where they found their rhythm and went on a dominant run.

In the playoffs, FURIA defeated The MongolZ 2-0 and swept Team Falcons 2-0 to reach the Grand Finals against Team Vitality. The best-of-five series showcased FURIA’s consistency and coordination, securing them a clean sweep.
