Imperial Esports has officially announced the launch of its first- European academy roster in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), marking a significant move in the organisation’s global expansion strategy.

The Brazilian organisation has teamed up with online gambling platform Gamdom to unveil the Gamdom Imperial Academy, a project aimed at cultivating emerging CS2 talent across Europe. This marks Imperial Esports’ third active CS2 lineup, alongside its main roster and its all-female team.

Revealed earlier today, the new academy squad brings together promising players from across the continent. The roster features Danish talents Tristan ‘sh1Fu’ Jensen and Frederik ‘Kragh’ Kragh, Ukrainian players Maksym ‘ta9zqq’ Hrytsai and Artem ‘oNESTLY’ Kobziev, as well as Nikita ‘Aliot’ Kovalev, a 20-year-old rifler from Russia.

In a statement shared on social media, Imperial expressed the long-term vision behind the academy initiative:

“The Gamdom Imperial Academy represents more than just a team, it’s an investment in the future of esports. By combining Imperial’s culture and winning values with Europe’s rising stars, our mission is to create an environment where talent flourishes, discipline is forged, and champions are built.”

The launch is described by the Imperial Esports as “a decisive step” in its broader plans to establish a global presence. With the European academy project, Imperial aims to create a structured pathway for young players to gain international exposure and experience.
