The Overwatch Champion Series (OWCS) 2025 World Finals ended with a dramatic finish as Twisted Minds captured the championship title with a 4–1 victory over their EMEA rivals, Al Qadsiah. The event took place from November 26 to 30, bringing together 12 of the world’s strongest teams in an intense five-day tournament.
Twisted Minds entered the World Finals already seen as a strong favorite thanks to their win in OWCS EMEA Stage 3. Even with that momentum, their path to the trophy was far from easy. Teams like Mid-Season Championship winners Team Falcons and Champions Clash leaders Crazy Raccoon stood in their way.
Their journey began with a close 3–2 win over T1 in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals. From there, they powered through Team Falcons with a dominant 3–0 sweep, looking nearly unstoppable. That streak came to a halt in the Upper Bracket Finals when Al Qadsiah took them down 3–1, sending Twisted Minds to the Lower Bracket.
Instead of folding, Twisted Minds fought back. They defeated Crazy Raccoon in the Lower Bracket Finals, earning a chance to face Al Qadsiah one last time—this time for the championship.
The Grand Finals featured five high-energy games:
Game one: TM 2–0 QAD on Nepal (Control)
Game two: TM 2–1 QAD on King’s Row (Hybrid)
Game three: QAD 3–0 TM on New Junk City (Flashpoint)
Game four: TM 3–0 QAD on Route 66 (Escort)
Game five: TM 144.86m–121.21m QAD (1–0) on Runasapi (Push)
With these results, Twisted Minds secured the series 4–1 and claimed the title of OWCS 2025 World Champions.
