Sony has released its financial results for the first half of fiscal year 2025, revealing major growth across its Game & Network Services (G&NS) division. The company credited higher revenue from PlayStation Plus subscriptions and game software sales for driving performance and has raised its full-year forecast for games revenue.

The PlayStation 5 has now reached 84.2 million lifetime sales, with 3.9 million units sold in the second quarter alone. Meanwhile, Sony’s newest first-party release, Ghost of Yōtei, sold 3.3 million copies since its launch on October 2.
