Prodigy Agency, an esports talent representation firm, has officially merged with Sports Entertainment Group (SEG), a major international talent agency known for traditional sports. This merger brings together two key players in talent management, creating a group focused on esports, gaming, and conventional athletics.
According to deal, a dedicated esports and gaming division within SEG will be established, allowing both agencies to share resources, client rosters, and industry knowledge to provide better support for athletes, content creators, and partners.Jérôme Coupez and Manon Lagarrigue, the founders of Prodigy Agency, will continue to lead the agency as CEO and COO.
Rowan Stroo, Division Director of SEG Esports, will join the management team.“This merger unites two powerhouses in sports and gaming,” said Coupez in a press release. “Together, we will better serve and support our family of players, creators, athletes, and partners, and lay the foundation to grow into one of the world’s leading agencies at the intersection of sports and gaming.”
Prodigy Agency has grown quickly since launching in 2018. Today it represents more than 300 players and talents, including top names such as Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut, one of Counter-Strike's most dominant players, and Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo, a widely recognized Valorant star and content creator. The agency is known for offering full-service support that covers career development, brand partnerships, performance coaching, and community building.
SEG already has some experience in esports, having represented talents like fighting game community standout Dominique ‘SonicFox’ McLean and Leandro ‘Virtyy’ Moreno over the past eight years. In addition to gaming, SEG manages more than a thousand clients across various sports and entertainment fields, including high-profile soccer figures such as Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and Liverpool FC player Cody Gakpo.By joining forces, the two agencies aim to meet the changing needs of talent in an industry where esports and traditional sports increasingly overlap through sponsorships, media deals, content opportunities, and cross-industry partnerships.
