Sentinels has officially announced the signing of Teki, also known as Tekixd, to its Marvel Rivals roster as the team’s new Vanguard player. Teki joins in the midst of a slight rebuild for Sentinels after the departure of Zairek ‘Hogz’ Poll and the transfer of Colin ‘Coluge’ Arai to ENVY.
The announcement, made earlier today via X, follows a series of behind-the-scenes tryouts conducted by Sentinels’ coaching staff. After evaluating multiple candidates, the organization revealed that Teki was the standout option to fill the crucial Vanguard role. The tweet teasing the signing, originally posted on April 21, 2025, generated excitement across the Marvel Rivals community.

Teki’s Rise in Marvel Rivals Currently ranked 172nd among the top 500 players in Marvel Rivals, Teki has earned a reputation as a formidable player in the Vanguard category. He has showcased his skills on various characters, including powerful picks like Groot, Magneto, and Emma Frost—some of the top-tier choices for the game’s current season, Season 2: Hellfire Gala.
In addition to his competitive play, Teki is also a popular Twitch streamer, where he regularly broadcasts his matches and shares insights into his playstyle. His loyal fanbase and skillful performances made him an attractive candidate for Sentinels, who were looking to strengthen their roster.
Team Reactions and Welcome Members of Sentinels have been quick to express their excitement about Teki joining the team. Strategist Mark ‘Karova’ Kvashin took to social media to welcome Teki, noting his laid-back demeanor, calling him “the chillest of them all.” Other teammates, including Anthony ‘SuperGomez’ Gomez and Chassidy ‘aramori,’ also praised Teki’s ability and work ethic, highlighting his potential to elevate the team in future competitions.
The Road Ahead for Sentinels With Teki now locked in as their Vanguard, Sentinels still have one remaining open spot on the roster, which they plan to fill with another Vanguard player in the near future. Until that role is filled, Sentinels’ coach, William ‘Crimzo’ Hernandez, will temporarily step in to compete in upcoming events, much like he did during Marvel Rivals Championships (MRC) Season 1.
