Fnatic Gear Partners with Sony
Fnatic Gear, the gaming hardware arm of leading esports organisation Fnatic, is officially becoming part of Sony’s gaming gear brand, INZONE, following a multi-year collaboration and a strategic global partnership formed in 2023.
The announcement marks the end of a nine-year journey for Fnatic Gear as an independent brand. During that time, it sold over one million products designed specifically for competitive gamers. Now, the transition to INZONE will integrate Fnatic’s hardware expertise with Sony’s engineering capabilities, aiming to deliver an upgraded product line built for both performance and innovation.
“This is a milestone moment for us,” said Sam Mathews, CEO of Fnatic. “Fnatic Gear was born to serve our players and fans with tools that give them a competitive edge. After nearly a decade, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved – and now, we’re thrilled to take things to the next level with INZONE.”
Fnatic’s esports professionals and content creators will continue playing an active role in the development process, lending their hands-on experience to shape INZONE’s future offerings. Existing Fnatic Gear products will still be supported, ensuring current users remain a part of the evolving ecosystem.
The integration builds on two years of close collaboration between Fnatic and Sony’s hardware teams, during which Fnatic players helped test and influence the development of INZONE’s gaming headsets and monitors.
“This is the culmination of two years of deep collaboration with Sony’s team, and it opens the door to even more innovation for our community,” Mathews added.
