StarLadder Apologized for Issues
StarLadder has issued a public apology after multiple technical problems disrupted the first day of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025. The opening Stage 1 matches were heavily delayed, causing games to conclude in the early hours of November 25th (UK time).
Ahead of the event’s second day, the tournament organiser addressed fans on social media, apologising for issues that affected the livestreams, including audio problems and overall stream instability. Many viewers reported hearing echoed in-game sounds, while others noted that commentators were missing during parts of the broadcast.
“We know we fell short today, and it impacted your experience,” Starladder said. “Sorry for letting you down – we’re making things right and improving for the next days.”
The event will resume on Day 2 at 2 PM GMT (3 PM CEST) with the third round of Stage 1 matches. Teams with early wins will try to secure their spot in the next phase, while those starting 0–2 will fight to avoid an early exit from the tournament.
