In the grand final of the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2024 (IEM Katowice 2024) at the Spodek Arena in Poland, Counter-Strike 2 prodigy Danil “donk” Kryshkovets led Team Spirit to a remarkable 3-0 victory over FaZe Clan. This triumph marked Spirit’s first major championship in Counter-Strike, earning the US$400k prize and securing their qualification for the IEM Cologne 2024.
The team dominated the competition in Katowice, winning 14 maps while losing only one. Their outstanding performance also guaranteed their participation in the BLAST Premier World Final 2024 and the Esports World Cup 2024.
