Playables can be accessed via a browser or iOS device, with no confirmation yet on Android compatibility. The selection includes simple games like chess and billiards as well as modern titles like Angry Birds Showdown and Tomb Of The Mask. Despite the official announcement, not all users have access yet, but YouTube promises wider availability soon.
To access Playables, users can visit the YouTube homepage and choose "Playables from the Explore menu. Players have the option to save their game progress for future sessions and track high scores. YouTube is actively seeking community feedback on the new feature.
Recently LinkedIn has joined the gaming scene, now providing users with the chance to play three different games on both its mobile app and desktop platform.
