Plunderstorm Creator Royale Revealed for WoW Fans

Blizzard announced Plunderstorm Creator Royale Event. The Plunderstorm Creator Royale is a one-day event where 60 streamers play Plunderstorm Duos, earning points for their performance in matches. Points come from both their placement in matches and the number of eliminations they achieve. After five matches, the leading duos have a chance to win the entire competition if they come first in the next match. If there's no clear winner by the eighth match, a free-for-all match will be held. The victorious duo becomes the Plunderstorm Champion and receives the majority of a $50k prize pool.

Plunderstorm focuses on gameplay, survival, strategy, and adaptability. All players start with identical basic attack and healing abilities and gather in Brew Bay (the Lobby) before the action begins. Once the match starts, a cannon launches players into the battlefield. Using their parrots, players decide where to land and then scavenge for spells and abilities, face off against enemies and mobs, and engage in battles with other players, aiming to be the sole survivor at the end of the match. It is a World of Warcraft-themed Battle Royale.
