According to recent news, Tekken 8 will be a part of the Esports World Cup. The popular fighting title Tekken was not among the initial lineup, however following the admission of Street Fighter Tekken also joined the Saudi event. The financial details of the deal were not revealed.

Currently, Esports World Cup has Street Fighter 6, EA Sports FC 24, Rocket League, Fortnite, Free Fire, PUBG, PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Brawl Stars, Rainbow Six Siege,StarCraft II, Overwatch 2, Counter-Strike 2, Honor of Kings,Tekken 8 and Dota 2.

Even though the vent is criticized by some within the community the list of games continues to rise. Recently Saudi Arabian city Qiddiya also sponsored the event and Sony became the official partner of the Esports World Cup. When we take a closer look at the esports industry few teams or titles have the privilege to say no to this event.
