KRAFTON announced that PUBG MOBILE Global Open will take place in Uzbekistan. James Yang, Senior Director of Global Esports Center at Level Infinite, revealed during Gamescom last week that PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) 2025, the inaugural LAN event of the competitive season, will be held in the Central Asian country. The exact date and venue for PMGO 2025 were not disclosed. The prize pool of the event was also not revealed.
Uzbekistan, a Central Asian country with a regional PUBG Mobile ecosystem, will host its first major international esports event with PMGO 2025.

The company also revealed some updates to the PUBG Mobile game, according to release, players can now heal while driving, enhancing their survival strategies on the move. Additionally, the introduction of a Mobile Shop key allows players to use earned Shop tokens for increased convenience and gameplay enhancements.
