Look North World has secured an additional $2.25m in seed funding, bringing their total to $4.5m.
The latest funding round was led by London Venture Partners, with contributions from Bandai Namco Entertainment 021 Fund, Overwolf, Crush Ventures (the venture arm of Crush Music), Hasbro, Pix Capital, and Hibbard Road Partners.
According to release this investment will support the development of original titles—of which the studio currently has 15 in progress—and research into utilizing user-generated content in game development.

Look North World has previously developed and published five games on Unreal Engine for Fortnite. Additionally, the publisher has launched a creator label to offer artistic and technical support, marketing resources, and long-term ownership of intellectual property to creators. Austin 'TomJank' Rodriguez and Jon 'SightedSloth' Jungemann are among the first signees to the program.
Look North World CEO and founder Alex Seropian stated “At Look North World, we have embraced this evolution by choosing to build within platforms that allow experimentation, quick iteration, and access to a massive audience. Our creator label, which mirrors our approach to embracing UGC as the future of gaming, enables us to support creators and take risks on games that would otherwise never get greenlit.”
