PlayStation has unveiled the Middle East North Africa Hero Project (MENA Hero Project), aimed at supporting game developers from the MENA region. This initiative is designed to identify and nurture emerging talent from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia.
The MENA Hero Project offers mentorship, training, and project-based investment to help developers bring their ideas to a global audience. The program aims to lower entry barriers and showcase new gaming talent from the region.

“PlayStation is committed to being the best place to play and supporting diverse talent worldwide,” said a PlayStation spokesperson. “The MENA Hero Project reflects our belief in the potential of the MENA gaming market and our commitment to fostering innovation.”
