Riot Games has announced a new partnership with the gaming browser Opera GX. Starting September 25th, Opera GX will become the preferred browser partner for all League of Legends global events, coinciding with the beginning of the League of Legends World Championship.

The partnership includes the Worlds Unlocked promotion, which will feature exclusive in-game and physical items. Additionally, Opera GX will host a co-streaming hub that will aggregate over 75 channels streaming the championship matches.

Opera GX, which has previously partnered with Moist Esports and collaborated with GRID and Esports Insider for the DataJam, continues to expand its presence in the esports industry.

David Mulhall, Head of Global Esports Partnerships at Riot Games, stated “Opera GX is the ideal partner for LoL Esports as they are a brand built for players, by players, and there’s no better time for us to showcase our new collaboration than during Worlds."
