Riot Games has announced the formation of the League of Legends Championship of The Americas (LTA), uniting North America, Latin America, and Brazil under one banner. The LTA will feature two conferences: LTA North, comprising teams from North America and Northern Latin America, and LTA South, featuring teams from Brazil and South America.

Key teams in LTA North include:

  • Lyon Gaming: Returning as an official LATAM Partner team.
  • Cloud9: A historic team that reached the Worlds semifinals in 2018.
  • Dignitas: One of the original LCS teams, known for its early contributions to North American esports.
  • FlyQuest: Notable for their "Go Green" initiatives and their first LCS Championship in 2024.
  • Shopify Rebellion: Entering LCS in 2024, building on the former TSM roster's success.
  • Team Liquid Honda: Renowned for their four consecutive LCS championships from 2018 to 2019.

Provisional Guest Team: 100 Thieves, which sold its franchise slot back to Riot, will compete in 2025 but won't participate in the Promotion Tournament.

Guest Team: Disguised, known for their rise in the Challengers League, will join LTA North, marking their debut in a top-tier league.
